Struwwelpeterrabbit

2 classics for the price of one!
On a halloween note.. did anyone else find the cover of Struwwelpeter as a child terrifying?
If you haven't seen the 1848 classic by Dr Heinrich Hoffmann then look here bugpowder.com/andy/e.hoffmann.html

Frankie goes to Dollywood

Appologies for the bad gag :)
I think this was inspired by a great drawing of a monster in cowboy boots by my mate Sam Hearn!

more fan art

I had so much fun yesterday that I couldn't resist doing more fan art. David Mckee's strange compositions, colours and weird trees really draw you into his world. I can see me doing the whole book when I get time :)

Not Now, Bernard (with apologies to David McKee)

Every time my little Niece visits us, she insists on me reading her Not Now, Bernard. One of my favorite childhood books... I hope David McKee isn't too offended by my affectionate tribute!
David McKee has been a big influence on my work over the years.
